2010 Oscar Nominations Revealed.
Early Tuesday morning nominations for the Academy Awards were announced by Anne Hathaway in Beverley Hills.
Nominations for this years Academy Awards include Sandra Bullock, who has already taken home the Golden Goble and SAG Award for Best Actress for her role in “The Blind Side” as real-life Memphis mother Leigh Anne Tuohy. Also nominated in this category is Helen Mirren for “The Last Station”, Gabourey Sidibe for “Precious”, Meryl Streep for “Julie and Julia”, and Carey Mulligan for “An Education”.
Best Actor nominees included long time critic’s favourite Jeff Bridges for “Crazy Heart”, George Clooney for “Up in the Air”, Colin Firth for “A Single Man”, Morgan Freeman for “Invictus”, and Jeremy Renner for “The Hurt Locker”.
Unusually the Academy has increased the number of Best Picture nominees from 5 to 10 and they include Avatar, District 9, An Education, The Hurt Locker, Inglourious Basterds, The Blind Side, Precious, A Serious Man, Up in the Air, and Up. There has only ever been one other animated film to be nominated for Best Picture, the 1991 Walt Disney classic “Beauty and the Beast.
As reported on Who Magazine website, the 82nd annual Academy Awards is to be co- hosted by Alex Baldwin and Steve Martin, will air in Australia on the 8th of March.

John Mayer Not Over Break UP
John Mayer has revealed that he has never really gotten over his break up from on- again- off- again girlfriend Jennifer Anniston, and has admitted he is having a hard time moving on.
Mayer, 32, and Aniston, 40, first hooked up in 2008, and have had a hot and cold romance ever since. They officially called it quits in August 2008, but eventually reconciled and attended the 2009 Oscars together. They later split again, but according to reports have remained friendly.
The singer who has opened up in his latest interview for Rolling Stone magazine has revealed “it was one of the worst times of my life”. Mayer has revealed that he craves to meet the right woman and to settle down.
